I’m a quirky mix of contradictions that somehow works for me. Born in a “small town” (in the true John Mellencamp sense), I grew up in the county seat of corn country among a family of entrepreneurs. Nearly everyone in my family owned a business or two. We sold casual furniture, soybeans, cars, pizza, beers and antique tractor decals. (Yes, you probably saw me driving a Farmall in a parade last August.) I’m a denim jeans kind of girl and I absolutely love it!
That’s not to say I don’t fantasize about one day throwing on a vintage black Chanel (Size six petite, please!), a string of Grandma’s pearls and spending a glorious week in New York City or maybe NOLA. Take in a few Broadway shows or check out the House of Blues! Then again, some quiet reflection at Fallingwater would be cool. I’m a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan! (His prairie style architecture inspired my home out in the trees north of Indianapolis.)
Versatility is my point here. Sit me down at the county fair or in a room with a high profile interviewee and I bring it all, plus an incredibly curious nature—on behalf of your story.
